Chalet D'Avila Guest House enjoys a superb location right in front of the Saldanha metro station, directly on the red line to the airport, making it exceptionally convenient for travelers. Many guests appreciate the good breakfast offered from 7 to 11 am, and the availability of kitchen facilities, including a fridge, allows for preparing your own meals and snacks and enjoying them in the eating area. Some guests have mentioned that the bathrooms are shared, but they are kept super clean. The overall vintage look of the rooms, some with access to terraces, provides a unique charm.

amazing stay!

fresh fruit full kitchen array of pastries
i enjoyed fresh fruit, yogurt, and a wide array of pastries every morning. they offered coffee and tea all day. mini pastel de nata and other tasty treats! a full kitchen gave me the option to cook and store food.
the walls seemed a little thin. i could occasionally hear noises from the hallway and adjacent rooms. it was a slight disturbance, but manageable.

thin walls unexpected intrusion
I must say, my stay wasn't exactly smooth sailing. the walls seemed like they were made of paper. I could hear everything. i mean everything. another guest's 5 am packing session? sounded like they were right in my room. also, one morning, the cleaning staff waltzed right in without knocking. i definitely wasn't expecting that sort of wake-up call.

clean rooms excellent breakfasts
The cleaners maintained very clean rooms. The staff were great and offered excellent breakfasts to us. Use of the fridge and the terrace area near the bedrooms on the second floor was very helpful. I appreciated that there were very good restaurants near the hotel.
The bathroom was located quite far down the corridor from our room.
